Culture refers t’patterns uh human activity and da symbolic structures dat cut such activities significance and impo’tance.

Some define culture as all de arts uh a populashun dat is passed down fum generashun t’generashun. Culture gots been called “de way uh life fo’ an entire society. It includes codes uh manners, dress, language, religion, rituals, no’ms uh behavio’ such as law and mo’ality, and systems uh belief as well as de art.

De “Arts”

De arts be a broad subdivision uh culture, composed uh many ‘espressive disciplines. In modern usage, it be a term broada’ dan “art”, which usually means de visual arts ~  fine art, deco’ative art, and crafts.

De arts encompasses visual arts, puh’fo’min’ arts, language arts, culinary arts, and physical arts an’ artistic disciplines involve aspects uh de various arts, so’s de definishuns uh dese terms overlap t’some degree.

Paintin’

Paintin’ snatchn literally be de practice uh applyin’ pigment suspended in some medium and some bindin’ agent t’a surface - such as sheet, kinvas ,wood panel o’ some wall.

‘Artistically’ it means de use uh dis activity in combinashun wid drawin’, composishun and oda’ aesdetic considerashuns in o’da’ to manifest da ’spressive and conceptual intenshun uh de practishuner.

De Lits

Literature be “acquaintance wid letters” as in de fust sense given in de Oxfo’d English Dicshunary. De term gots generally mosey on down to identify some collecshun uh writin’s, which in Western culture is mainly prose, bod ficshun and non-ficshun, drama and poetry.

In much, if not all uh de wo’ld, texts kin be o’al as well, and include such genres as epic, legend, mah’d, ballad, oda’ fo’ms uh o’al poetry, and as folktale.

Perfo’min’ Arts

De puh’fo’min’ arts diffa’ from de plastic arts insofar as de fo’ma’ uses de artist’s own body, face, presence as some medium, and da damn latta’ uses materials such as clay, metal o’ paint which kin be molded o’ transfo’med t’create some art object.

Perfo’min’ arts include acrobatics, buskin’, comedy, boogie, magic, beat, opuh’, film, jugglin’, martial arts, marchin’ arts, such as brass bands, and deatre. Artists who participate in dese arts in front uh an audience is called puh’fo’mers, includin’ acto’s, comedians, boogiers, beatians, and rappers.

Perfo’min’ arts is also suppo’ted by wo’kers in related fields, such as beatwritin’ and stagecraft.  Perfo’mers often adapt deir appearance, such as wid costumes and stage makeup, etc. Co’ got d’ beat! Dere be also some specialized fo’m uh fine art in which de artists puh’fo’m deir wo’k live t’an audience. Dis be called Perfo’mance art.

Gots De Beat

Beat (’Music’ t’ honkys) as an academic discipline mainly focuses on two carea’ pads: beat puh’fo’mance o’ de o’chestra and concert hall; and beat educashun: trainin’ beat head homeboys.

Students learn t’play instruments, but also study beat deo’y, beatology, histo’y uh beat and composishun. In de liberal arts tradishun, beat be also used t’broaden skills uh non-beatians by teachin’ skills such as concentrashun and listenin’.

Deatre

Deatre - o’ deata’  - be de branch uh de puh’fo’min’ arts concerned wid actin’ out sto’ies in front uh an audience usin’ combinashuns uh speech, gesture, beat, boogie, sound and spectacle — indeed any one o’ mo’e elements uh de oda’ puh’fo’min’ arts.

In addishun t’de standard narrative dialogue style, deatre snatch’d such fo’ms as opuh’, ballet, mime, kabuki, classical Indian boogie, Chinese opuh’, mummers’ plays, and love.

Boogie

Boogie generally refers t’human movement eida’ used as some fo’m uh ’spression o’ presented in some social, spiritual o’ puh’fo’mance settin’. Boogie be also used t’describe medods uh non-verbal communicashun (see body language) between humans o’ animals, moshun in inanimate object, and certain beatal fo’ms o’ genres.

Drawin’

Drawin’ be a means uh makin’ an image, usin’ any uh a wide variety uh tools and techniques. It generally involves makin’ marks on some surface by applyin’ pressho’ man fum some tool, o’ movin’ some tool across some surface.
